Igor Gurevich
Born on the 15th of September, 1959.
Graduated from Moscow Institute for Building and Engineering.
After, in 1990 got a special education in the International Business School of the Moscow State Institute for International Relations of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Russia; went through the Center of Information and Social and Cultural Investigations, then continued his education in Stockholm, Sweden, where he studied cultural politics in the Swedish Institute for Culture.
He started his manager’s career through taking part in managing the Moscow Olympics in 1980; being a member of the Organizational Committee took an active part in managing "The USSR - INDIA" Festival, which included the tours of more than 3 thousand artists, Bolshoi and Kirov companies among them.
While working in GOSCONCERT, was a manager of the foreign artists’ tours in the USSR and Soviet artists’ tours abroad.

Produced a number of huge concerts on the leading stages of Moscow, St.Petersburg, Kremlin Palace of Congresses, Column Hall, "Rossia" Concert Hall, Great Hall "Oktiabrsky" among them.
On the eve of the World Soccer Cup in Italy, was chosen as a General Manager of the Days of Italian Culture and Lombardian Arts in Moscow by Italian impresarios and producers.
In 1988 was invited to join the Ministry of Culture of the USSR. Used to function as a Chief Consultant of the Festivals’ Administration, the Head of the Management Department, then became a Head of the Administration for Special Programs of the International Cultural Center of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
In 1993 founded and headed the Russian National Agency of the International Festivals (ROSINTERFEST). Initiated a number of International Festivals and headed the following cultural actions within less than 5 years: International Festival of the Russian Music.
ROSINTERFEST has been founded in 1993 by several private companies and with the participation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Initially, the objective of the new company was to promote cultural exchange and cooperation between Russia and other countries and facilitate international business integration process.
ROSINTERFEST held more than 500 cultural events: the most representative gala-concerts, the days of Russian culture abroad, festivals of contemporary music and puppet theaters, performances of the leading world orchestras, ballets tours, jazz evenings, musicals, large festival projects, concert tours of world “stars”.
ROSINTERFEST has an extensive experience working with the governmental clients, including the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography, Moscow Government and the administrative bodies of other Russian regions.
